SUMMARY:DCD>Connect Southern Europe — Madrid 2026
DESCRIPTION:DCD>Connect | Southern Europe is DCD’s Iberian and Mediterranean flagship\, moving in 2026 to the larger Palacio Municipal IFEMA Madrid. The show draws 2\,500+ senior operators\, hyperscalers\, end-users\, engineers\, and technical specialists from across Spain\, Portugal\, Italy\, and the broader Mediterranean basin. Two specialised forums — the AI Impact Forum and the ESG Forum — headline the content agenda\, joined by tracks on site selection\, interconnection\, capacity planning\, and design for AI-era thermal and power loads. \nSouthern Europe has become one of the most dynamic new build regions — Spain’s grid and land advantages have attracted multiple hyperscale campuses\, and Italian submarine-cable landings are reshaping European connectivity. The conversations at Madrid tend to be more practical than those in London: how interconnection queues are actually being worked\, what Iberian water-use constraints mean for cooling architectures\, and how European co-los are pricing AI-ready capacity differently than U.S. peers. \nAttend if you operate\, sell into\, or are evaluating expansion into Southern European markets\, or if you want an early read on how the Iberian hyperscale buildout is proceeding.
