Yokogawa releases SL2000 high-speed data acquisition unit for multi-channel measurement and analysis applications

Yokogawa Test&Measurement announced the launch of its SL2000 high-speed data acquisition (DAQ) unit, part of its ScopeCorder series. This modular DAQ system combines mixed-signal oscilloscope and data recorder functionalities, designed specifically to capture fast transient signals and long-term trends with high precision.

The SL2000 unit supports high-speed sampling rates up to 200 MS/s and enables long-duration, multi-channel measurements—essential for rigorous durability tests and reliability evaluations. It includes eight slots supporting up to 32 synchronized channels, with more than 20 different input modules available for measuring electrical signals, sensor-driven mechanical parameters, and decoded serial bus data from vehicle communication systems (e.g., CAN and CAN FD).

According to Yokogawa, engineers can synchronize up to five SL2000 and DL950 units, providing flexibility for large test setups. The integration with Yokogawa’s IS8000 software platform facilitates easier long-term measurement and improves noise resistance through isolation measurement technology.

Target data center applications mentioned include power and energy performance testing, supporting development, validation, and troubleshooting workflows. The unit also directly addresses testing requirements across automotive, industrial robotics, aviation, renewable energy, and mechatronics markets.
