At MWC Barcelona 2026, Huawei has unveiled the upgraded Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 Solution and what it calls the industry’s first commercial 51.2 Tbit/s (128 × 400GE) liquid-cooled fixed switch, the CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC. Huawei positions the releases for AI-era data center networks and enterprise “digital and intelligent transformation,” according to the announcement.
Huawei says Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 is based on a three-layer network architecture: AI Brain, AI Connectivity, and AI Network Elements. The solution integrates four capabilities: Rock-Solid Architecture 2.0 (three levels of high reliability with the AI Eagle-Eye Engine), StarryWing Digital Map 2.0 (three levels of automation with NetMaster), Xinghuan AI Turbo 2.0 (Network Packet Load Balancing (NPLB) and Network Stream Load Balancing (NSLB)), and iFlashboot 2.0 (reboots within five seconds).
“The newly released Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 Solution builds on a three-layer network architecture of AI Brain, AI Connectivity, and AI Network Elements, and integrates four core capabilities,” said Arthur Wang, President of the Data Center Network Domain, Huawei’s Data Communication Product Line. “Rock-Solid Architecture 2.0 that ensures three levels of high reliability with the AI Eagle-Eye Engine StarryWing Digital Map 2.0 that delivers three levels of automation with NetMaster Xinghuan AI Turbo 2.0 that offers Network Packet Load Balancing (NPLB) and Network Stream Load Balancing (NSLB) capabilities iFlashboot 2.0 that enables ultra-fast reboots within 5 seconds”
For switching hardware, Huawei says the CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC provides 100 percent liquid cooling for optical modules and delivers “twice the industry average heat dissipation efficiency.” It supports deployment of eight switches per cabinet, which Huawei says doubles cabinet utilization efficiency.
Huawei has also unveiled a full series of 800GE and 400GE StarryLink optical modules, which it says deliver reliability “twice the industry average” and “ultra-long transmission capabilities.” At its booth, Huawei showcased 800GE switching products including the CloudEngine XH16800 series modular switches (up to 768 × 800GE ports), CloudEngine XH9330 fixed switch (128 × 800GE ports), CloudEngine XH9320 fixed switch (64 × 800GE ports), and the 800GE StarryLink optical modules.
