Keysight launches interconnect validation tools for AI data center scale-up

Keysight has introduced a portfolio of scale-up validation solutions aimed at AI data center operators dealing with bandwidth, latency, and interoperability bottlenecks as compute clusters get denser and more complex. Keysight says the portfolio supports UALink 200G, PCI Express 7.0, PCI Express 6.0, PCI Express 5.0, and Compute Express Link 3 to validate high-speed interconnect performance before deployment.

For UALink 200G, Keysight has released receiver conformance test software targeting UALink 200 Gb/s interfaces used in AI scale-up networking. Keysight says it integrates the M8050A 120 Gbd High-Performance Bit Error Ratio Tester (BERT) and the Infiniium UXR real-time oscilloscope to simplify stressed-signal calibration and provide measurement coverage for conformance testing and debugging.

Keysight has also introduced a PCI Express 7.0 transmitter test solution for PCI Express 7.0 Base specification compliance testing at speeds up to 128 GT/s. For PCI Express 6.0, Keysight has added a protocol compliance test suite providing end-to-end validation of link- and transaction-layer requirements at speeds up to 64 GT/s, built on its PCI Express 6.0 protocol platform and combining exerciser and analyzer hardware with automated test execution and pass-fail reporting.

For memory-centric scale-up, Keysight has introduced a Compute Express Link 3 protocol exerciser and analyzer test solution. Keysight positions Compute Express Link 3 as a way to expand memory capacity and bandwidth beyond traditional Dual In-Line Memory Modules (DIMMs), enabling high-bandwidth, low-latency memory sharing across heterogeneous compute platforms; Keysight says its solution validates coherent memory pooling across CPUs, GPUs, and accelerators for disaggregated compute environments.

Keysight also announced an automated PCI Express 5.0 protocol link and transaction compliance solution that it says is now certified by PCI-SIG for PCI Express 5.0 link- and transaction-layer testing of endpoint and retimer devices. Keysight reported that the new scale-up solutions will be demonstrated at DesignCon 2026, February 24-26, at booth 1039.
