WhiteFiber Continuum links two data centers into one 136 Tbps GPU supercluster

WhiteFiber has launched WhiteFiber Continuum, a distributed GPU supercluster architecture designed to link geographically separated data centers into a single logical GPU cluster. The company is pitching the system as a way to remove bandwidth and throughput as constraints on where AI infrastructure can be deployed and how far it can scale.

Continuum is built across two HITRUST-certified QTS facilities located 83 km apart, connected via 12 Zayo dark fiber strands. WhiteFiber states the architecture delivers 136 Tbps of bandwidth with 0.9 ms of guaranteed round-trip latency. The stack includes DriveNets AI Fabric for the cross-site network fabric and WEKA NeuralMesh for data storage and memory infrastructure across the cluster. WhiteFiber has submitted patent applications tied to the underlying implementation.

For data center engineers, the big technical question with any multi-site “single cluster” concept is whether the inter-site network can be made predictable enough to keep distributed workloads from stalling on latency and congestion. The 0.9 ms guaranteed round-trip latency number is the headline spec here, because once you start stretching a cluster across metro distances, determinism matters as much as peak Tbps.

WhiteFiber CEO Sam Tabar said, “Today we are making it commercially available to enterprises that need AI compute to perform at scale, hold up under compliance requirements, and not break when a single site has a problem.” WhiteFiber also describes Continuum as designed to keep sensitive workloads within their originating jurisdiction while still enabling pooled compute and failover across locations.

DriveNets’ Yossi Kikozashvili, VP Product and GTM – AI Infra, said, “DriveNets’ Ethernet-based AI fabric delivers the highest performance even in the most demanding, high-bandwidth, low-latency environments.” WEKA co-founder and CEO Liran Zvibel said, “WEKA’s NeuralMesh gives Continuum a single, high-performance storage and memory foundation across sites, so GPUs that sit many kilometers apart operate as if the data were local.”

WhiteFiber Continuum is commercially available as of Sept. 23, 2026.
