Skanska expands US data center build contract to $267 million

Skanska has signed an additional contract with an existing client to build a data center in the US. Skanska says the additional contract is worth USD 228 million (about SEK 2.2 billion) and will be included in its US order bookings for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Skanska says the project scope includes constructing high-bay areas for data halls, as well as electrical rooms, mechanical rooms, a loading dock, office space, and storage areas.

Skanska reports the supplemental award increases the total contract value to USD 267 million. Skanska says the original award was USD 39 million and covered early work on the project.

Skanska says construction began in the fourth quarter of 2025 and is expected to be completed in 2027.
