vHive brings WorldTwin AI digital twin platform to data centers

vHive has expanded its WorldTwin AI engine into the data center market, aiming to connect physical facility infrastructure with digital management workflows. The company’s pitch is closing the “inventory visibility gap” between what operators think is on the floor and what’s actually installed, with a digital twin that spans floors, racks, and individual pieces of equipment.

The platform focuses on automating field and facility data capture using off-the-shelf cameras, then generating an intelligent digital twin from that survey data. vHive says this model can be used to catalog and map equipment, visualize rack density, identify available floor and rack space, and track changes over time as configurations evolve.

In data centers, DCIM systems often do well modeling network and logical layers, but the physical layer is where engineering and operations teams spend time reconciling reality: audits, build verification, and chasing down discrepancies during adds, moves, and changes. A camera-based digitization workflow paired with a structured 3D model is a practical fit for facilities where accurate rack-by-rack inventory directly affects capacity planning, tenant coordination, and day-to-day execution.

vHive says its “extendible WorldTwin AI” engine is based on a proprietary “World Model” intended to represent the facility “in its entirety.” The company says that model supports simulating changes, spotting available space to accelerate customer onboarding, and verifying build status against planning.

“Data centers are the backbone of the modern AI economy, yet many operators struggle with an ‘inventory visibility gap’ because their digital systems are disconnected from the physical assets on the floor,” said Yariv Geller, CEO and Co-Founder of vHive. “By applying the same Physical AI principles we perfected in the telecom and renewable energy sectors, we are enabling data center operators to move beyond static, manual spreadsheets to a dynamic, always current, structured understanding of their facilities.”

For operators and colocation providers, vHive lists tenant-facing 3D views of dedicated physical assets, automated inventory verification to reduce manual audits, and spatial topology and rack density analytics intended to support power and cooling management in high-density environments. The company also says the platform can overlay real-time power and thermal sensor data onto a 3D spatial view, and can support predictive diagnostics and automated maintenance workflows.

vHive says it has digitized over 120,000 critical infrastructure assets globally across its existing markets. More details on the data center offering are available at vhive.ai.
