DIMAAG has launched the ZettaWatt Power Platform, a modular grid-to-800 VDC power conversion and stabilization system designed for hyperscale AI data centers. The company is targeting utility interconnection hurdles in Texas’s ERCOT region, where large computational loads are being required to ride through specified grid disturbances rather than disconnect.
DIMAAG says the ZettaWatt platform has been independently validated by Electric Power Engineers (EPE) and meets ERCOT requirements for low-voltage ride-through. The system is also intended to smooth cyclic loads to less than 1% “as seen by the grid,” while avoiding the energy-efficiency penalties associated with double power conversion.
The product is built around an 800 VDC architecture, extending higher-voltage DC distribution concepts beyond the rack level to the utility grid interface. DIMAAG ties the platform to ERCOT’s Large Computational Load requirements under NOGRR282, which the company notes becomes effective Aug. 1, 2026, and requires large loads to ride through specified voltage and frequency disturbances.
On the system side, ZettaWatt integrates grid-to-800 VDC power conversion, DIMAAG’s patented Zenius immersion-cooled battery technology, real-time controls, and Zifer intelligent energy management into a single deployable platform. DIMAAG lists dynamic load smoothing, integrated UPS functionality, demand response, and ERCOT low-voltage ride-through compliance as core functions.
Consolidating these functions into one platform is a practical design choice for high-density AI builds: fewer distinct boxes in the electrical chain can mean fewer conversion stages, less floor space consumed by traditional gear, and fewer integration points to test during commissioning. But the real engineering test will be how consistently the platform can deliver the stated grid-facing load smoothing behavior under real AI workload transients, because that’s what utilities and interconnection studies will scrutinize.
