Tessell announces Exadata Integration for multi-cloud Oracle database environments

Tessell has introduced its Exadata Integration offering, enabling enterprises to deploy Oracle Database and Exadata across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as well as multi-cloud platforms, including Oracle Database on Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS. Tessell reports that its solution aims to extend Oracle Exadata’s capabilities to mission-critical and AI-driven workloads in heterogeneous, multi-cloud data center environments.

Tessell states its Exadata Integration supports several technical features relevant to data center operations. Tessell Airdrop automates zero-downtime migration, managing assessment, discovery, migration planning, cutover, and post-migration optimization without requiring application rewrites. The Tessell Data Ecosystem supports real-time operational and analytical pipelines, serving AI agents, analytics, and Oracle Fusion Apps. The platform implements policy-based data residency and sovereignty controls, allowing country-specific data restriction and unified governance across Exadata and infrastructure-as-a-service environments.

Tessell also highlights its Availability Machine for automated business continuity and disaster recovery, and supports Real Application Clusters (RAC) on Exadata across OCI, Azure, and Google Cloud—reportedly the only infrastructure supporting RAC in public cloud environments. Additional features include lifecycle optimization for seamless planning and migration, sparse clone automation for fast dev/test refreshes, and a unified control plane for snapshots, data masking, governance, and access controls.

According to Tessell, its integration addresses the operational and economic challenges linked to high-transaction AI workloads, offering policy-based orchestration, automation, and consolidated management of Oracle workloads across cloud providers. Tessell claims its platform helps enterprises migrate and operate Exadata workloads in the cloud with zero downtime and full security and aims to maintain the availability and resiliency required by mission-critical applications.

“Enterprises no longer need to choose between the gold standard of Oracle Exadata and the flexibility of multi-cloud,” said Bala Kuchibotla, Co-Founder and CEO at Tessell. “With Tessell, they can have both – extending Exadata’s unmatched performance into AI-ready, compliant, and cost-optimized environments worldwide.”

“Tessell for multi-cloud Exadata infrastructure marks a pivotal step forward in simplifying enterprise Cloud transformation. Tessell is now enabling businesses to move mission-critical Oracle workloads to the cloud with zero downtime, full security, and deep ecosystem integration,” said Kamaldeep Khanuja, Senior Vice President of Engineering at Tessell. “This launch is about more than migration – it’s about giving our customers the power to continuously innovate, scale, and lead in a data-driven world.”
