xFusion International recently introduced its latest high-performance computing (HPC) and intelligent computing solutions at ISC 2025 in Hamburg, Germany (June 10–13, 2025), highlighting its FusionServer V8 series and FusionPoD liquid-cooled cabinets designed specifically for advanced data center operations. The FusionPoD system, built for efficiency and energy savings at the rack scale, features native cold-plate liquid cooling with a passive water-cooled rear door, achieving a partial Power Usage Effectiveness (pPUE) as low as 1.06. This solution has earned the world’s first TÜV SÜD certification in its category.
Key FusionPoD technical specifications include support for ultra-high-density workloads (up to 144 CPUs per cabinet), and intelligent operations and maintenance (O&M) through a tri-bus design covering power, network, and liquids, enabling blind mating and future robotic management capabilities. xFusion reports successful deployment of this infrastructure at Global Switch’s Hong Kong data center, enabling efficient operation while meeting strict low-carbon standards.

Also showcased was xFusion’s FusionOne HPC solution, designed for research data centers and manufacturing simulation applications. Deployed notably at Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC), Istanbul Technical University, and Technische Universität Ilmenau, the FusionOne HPC solution integrates hardware and software to optimize performance for research-intensive workloads.
Additionally, xFusion highlighted its FusionOne Distributed File System (DFS), built for high-performance storage demanding intensive throughput, scalability, and efficiency, delivering up to 220 GB/s read bandwidth, 125 GB/s write bandwidth, and 5,700K IOPS. Also announced was FusionOne AI, a scalable platform for accelerating AI workloads through GPU virtualization techniques, including fractional GPU slicing capabilities (down to 1% GPU increments), improving computing utilization by 35%. FusionOne AI provides open integration with third-party AI and generative AI tools such as LLaMA and Hugging Face, designed specifically for diverse workloads from edge to large-scale cluster environments.
“At xFusion, we are tackling this challenge head-on by pioneering advancements in HPC and intelligent computing technologies,” said Arthur Wang, Director of xFusion Computing Solution. “From our FusionServer V8 series to our FusionPoD liquid-cooled cabinets, we are providing sustainable, efficient, and high-performance solutions to empower industries and institutions globally.”
