One Source launches cloud expense management for data center and cloud cost oversight

One Source has launched Cloud Expense Management, a new feature within its Managed Technology Expense Management Platform. The offering is designed to deliver centralized cost tracking, reporting, and oversight for cloud, data center, and hosted service expenses, according to the company.

One Source says Cloud Expense Management consolidates expense data from multi-cloud, data center, and hosted environments. It includes a centralized platform for vendor billing review and creates a single source for managing technology-related expenditures. The company claims its platform offers robust analytics for customizable reporting on spend history at both the provider and organizational level, along with detailed usage insights intended to help identify cost-saving opportunities.

For organizations operating across multiple providers and platforms, One Source reports these capabilities are targeted at providing complete visibility into cost structures and facilitating the identification of optimization strategies. The tool is positioned to help data center operators, hyperscale businesses, and technology vendors address increasing complexity and spending associated with cloud and hosted infrastructure.

“Our clients face mounting complexity in managing technology spend across multiple providers and platforms,” said Jared Parker, Head of Marketing and Partnerships, One Source. “We deliver the tools, data, and reporting necessary to fully understand and control those costs, while enabling our partners to deliver targeted optimization strategies based on accurate, actionable information.”
