100 Gbps dedicated servers now available from 19 US, EU, and APAC locations

HostColor has expanded its 100 Gbps dedicated server hosting footprint, adding more data center locations where customers can deploy dedicated servers and cloud infrastructure with a 100 Gbps internet connection. The update broadens where operators can place high-bandwidth bare metal, especially for latency-sensitive deployments that need to sit close to users or upstream networks.

In the US, HostColor now offers 100 Gbps-connected dedicated servers from Ashburn, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and Seattle. Internationally, the company lists 100 Gbps server availability in Europe from Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Paris, Prague, and Vienna, and in Asia from Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo. In South America, São Paulo is listed as the company’s only point of presence for 100 Gbps servers.

HostColor says customers can use the full capacity of the 100 Gbps connection “at no additional charge” for inbound or outbound internet traffic. The company also lists support for major Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, and Debian) and Microsoft Windows.

For teams building their own private cloud stack on bare metal, HostColor lists support for virtualization options including Proxmox VE, VMware ESXi, Linux Containers, VirtualBox, OpenVZ, and Microsoft Hyper-V. It also lists Kubernetes and Docker as available platforms for containerized application hosting.

The practical implication for data center and infrastructure engineers is straightforward: 100 Gbps ports are only useful if the surrounding constraints—server I/O, NIC selection, upstream capacity, and application design—can actually sustain that throughput. But for high-egress workloads, storage replication, or edge-adjacent content and application delivery, a dedicated 100 Gbps port can remove bandwidth planning as the limiting factor and shift attention back to compute, memory, and software bottlenecks.

On support, HostColor includes “Free Infrastructure Technical Support” under its SLA for bare metal and cloud server environments. The company describes this as covering core service functionality related to network interfaces and physical server components such as CPU, RAM, and storage drives, plus consultation on infrastructure use-case scenarios. It excludes operating system maintenance and support for customer configurations and installed applications, which HostColor places under its “Semi-Managed Dedicated Servers” support level. Under that semi-managed SLA, HostColor says its administrators install and configure server instances to customer specifications for Linux environments, reinstall the OS upon request, configure and manage network settings, create and maintain custom virtual private networks, and assist with troubleshooting server-side issues tied to OS, network, or software configuration.

HostColor lists additional edge hosting bandwidth options that include 1 Gbps unmetered dedicated servers and edge nodes with 5 Gbps, 10 Gbps, 20 Gbps, 30 Gbps, and 100 Gbps ports.
