IDrive e2 integrates with MSP360 for scalable and secure data center backup

IDrive e2 has announced the full integration of its S3-compatible object storage platform with MSP360 Backup, targeting organizations and managed service providers requiring secure, high-performance data protection. IDrive e2 claims this integration delivers direct, affordable cloud storage within the MSP360 ecosystem, prioritizing seamless server backup and rapid recovery for most technical environments, including data centers.

The combined solution offers high data availability, leveraging MSP360’s file and image backup, compression, and encryption alongside IDrive e2’s distributed object storage infrastructure. IDrive e2 notes it operates 13 data center locations across the US, Canada, Asia, and Europe, allowing administrators to deploy storage closer to endpoints and minimize latency.

IDrive e2 claims predictable, straightforward pricing starting at $39.50 per terabyte per year, with a 50 percent discount for the first year available to MSP360 users. The offer includes no egress or API call fees, and the storage platform advertises ransomware protection and compliance with standards such as SOC 2, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Security measures include physical and biometric controls, TLS-protected transfers, encryption at rest, and optional multi-factor authentication for both accounts and storage buckets.

Web-based management via both platforms enables remote monitoring of all backup activity, promoting centralized oversight of data center and distributed workloads. IDrive e2 and MSP360 highlight the integration’s scalable infrastructure for storing large data volumes, supporting business continuity with fast restoration in case of data loss or corruption. Users can select IDrive e2 as a storage target for backups of servers, endpoints, and business-critical data.

“Integrating IDrive e2 with MSP360 Backup gives our users fast, secure, and affordable data protection,” said Oleg Sapon, VP of Product Management at MSP360. “Whether using our freeware for desktop, or server backup, or our managed backup for MSPs, customers can now benefit from seamless performance and scalability at a lower cost.” Raghu Kulkarni, CEO of IDrive, said, “Our integration with MSP360 brings together two powerful solutions to simplify data protection for MSPs and IT departments of all sizes. By combining the fast, affordable, and scalable cloud storage of IDrive e2 with MSP360’s intuitive backup management, we’re giving IT teams the flexibility and reliability they need to protect their data without compromise.”
