SuperX AI Technology Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, SuperX AI Solution Limited, has entered into a joint venture agreement with Tianfu International Investment Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Suzhou TFC Optical Communication Co., and related affiliates to establish SuperX Optical Communications Pte. Ltd. Headquartered in Singapore, the joint venture will deliver end-to-end optical solutions for next-generation AI data centers and is positioned by the companies as a way to address high-speed data-transmission bottlenecks in large AI computing clusters.
SuperX will lead the joint venture through board and management control. The companies report the joint venture will operate under the “SuperX Optical Communications” brand and will focus on optimizing its research and development roadmap and cost structure. Excluding Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, the joint venture will target high-growth global markets with an emphasis on optical modules and devices for AI optical connectivity.
SuperX says the technical focus is tied to the shift toward massive-scale graphics processing unit cluster interconnectivity driven by trillion-parameter models. The companies describe optical connectivity as central to cluster efficiency and plan to provide “one-stop” optical connectivity solutions for AI customers worldwide, including optical modules, devices, and broader optical interconnect products aimed at AI data center deployments.
Under the agreement, SuperX will contribute AI infrastructure expertise and its global customer network, including introducing customer orders and driving research and development collaboration and customization requirements for co-developed products. TFC will provide original design manufacturer technical support for optical components to accelerate global market expansion. The companies also say the joint venture plans to pre-integrate optical interconnect products into SuperX’s modular AI infrastructure to enable “plug-and-play” deployment and shorten deployment cycles for data center operators worldwide.
SuperX describes itself as an AI infrastructure solutions provider for AI data centers, with offerings that include high-performance AI servers, 800 Volts Direct Current solutions, and high-density liquid-cooling solutions, plus AI cloud and AI agents. TFC describes its business as optical sub-assembly integrated solutions and optoelectronic packaging manufacturing services, including research and development, production, and sales of high-speed optical components used in AI and data center markets.
