15 MW AI Vault deploys ZutaCore waterless cooling for high-density data centers

ZutaCore has announced a collaboration with EGIL Wings to deploy waterless, direct-to-chip, two-phase liquid cooling in high-density artificial intelligence (AI) data centers. The partnership begins with ZutaCore’s HyperCool technology supporting EGIL Wings’ new 15 megawatt (MW) AI Vault, a prefabricated, modular facility designed for scalable global rollout.

According to ZutaCore, the HyperCool cooling system enables data centers to accommodate large-scale AI workloads with high power densities, while eliminating water use. The direct-to-chip approach supports environmental performance and allows for energy recovery and reuse, targeting efficient, low-carbon compute environments. ZutaCore claims its two-phase cooling delivers “unmatched environmental performance with clear pathways for energy recovery and reuse.” The solution is factory-tested for reliability and designed to simplify installation and commissioning, and is future-proofed for higher compute densities.

The companies report that the partnership will integrate ZutaCore HyperCool with EGIL Wings’ expertise in microgrids, sustainable energy infrastructure, biofuels, and green hydrogen. This aims to create modular, AI-ready data center environments in North America, Canada, Asia, Europe, and other regions.

The strategic framework covers technology integration, co-development, and manufacturing alignment for future deployments. ZutaCore notes more than 40 global HyperCool installations over the past four years with customers such as Equinix, SoftBank, and the University of Münsters, and continues to expand through partnerships with companies such as ASRock Rack, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and Carrier.
