TechNet Cyber is AFCEA’s flagship cyber event and the defense/intelligence community’s primary venue for whole-of-government cyber policy, architecture, and operations. The 2026 edition runs June 2–4 at the Baltimore Convention Center, drawing an expected 5,000+ cybersecurity professionals from U.S. Cyber Command, DISA, the services, the IC, federal civilian agencies, and the contractors and vendors that support them.
The program centers on zero-trust implementation across the DoD Information Network, cloud and hybrid-cloud security for mission systems, AI/ML for cyber defense, command and control of cyber forces, data strategy and data-centric security, tactical cyber, and identity credential and access management at federal scale. The exhibit floor is where the real work happens — DoD program offices, PEOs, and integrators meet product teams to vet capabilities against specific requirements.
TechNet Cyber is the best single snapshot of where federal and defense cloud, colocation, and edge compute are headed on the security axis — and where commercial providers are aligning to meet Impact Level accreditation, FedRAMP, and the evolving zero-trust targets. Operators serving government workloads should attend; so should any vendor whose roadmap touches federal sovereignty, data locality, or hardened infrastructure.
