USA TrackBusway has made its 225 A-per-phase Track Busway system available for purchase and project support through TrackBusway.com, targeting teams that need overhead power distribution with faster planning and procurement cycles for higher-ampacity busway.
The 225 A-per-phase Track Busway platform is positioned as a manufacturer-direct option for specifying and buying busway runs for data centers and other facilities. USA TrackBusway also supports feed sections and splitters rated up to 450 A, which it says can divide a run into two 225 A-per-phase sections to scale power where needed.
The system uses a continuous plug-in busway design with an open slot along the run, allowing power drops, outlet boxes, and lighting fixtures to be installed where needed rather than only at fixed connection points. Feed sections can be added along the run to scale capacity, manage voltage drop, and accommodate future equipment changes.
For data center engineers, the practical takeaway is flexibility: overhead busway that supports reconfigurable tap-off locations can reduce the rework that comes with changing rack layouts or expanding a space. But ampacity planning still comes down to the upstream distribution and protection scheme, and USA TrackBusway’s approach here is explicitly based on segmenting runs and adding feed points as capacity needs shift.
“A 450A splitter can divide a run into two 225A-per-phase sections, helping teams scale power while keeping continuous plug-in flexibility,” said Joseph Tembo, electrical engineer at USA TrackBusway.
Engineers, contractors, and project teams can review configurations, request layout support, and purchase the 225 A-per-phase Track Busway system at trackbusway.com/pages/225a-track-busway.
