50 MW AI compute deployment planned with Microsoft using NVIDIA GB300 NVL72

ChronoScale has lined up a partnership with Microsoft to plan a 50 MW AI compute deployment in North America built around NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems and liquid-cooling infrastructure. The build is described as a full-stack AI infrastructure deployment spanning the facility and the IT stack.

The planned North America deployment centers on NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 platforms paired with “advanced liquid-cooling infrastructure designed for high-density AI workloads.” ChronoScale also describes an integrated design that includes high-performance networking, storage, software, and purpose-built data center infrastructure to support the power, thermal, and operational requirements of next-generation accelerated computing clusters.

For data center engineers, the 50 MW figure is the headline number: it pushes the conversation away from single-hall pilot builds and into utility-scale electrical capacity planning, cooling plant sizing, and operational processes that have to work continuously under high-density AI load. And by calling out liquid cooling directly, ChronoScale is signaling that the target rack-level heat flux is beyond what most traditional air-cooled designs can comfortably absorb without major compromises in layout and airflow management.

“This planned 50 MW deployment reflects our focus on building AI infrastructure for the density and scale of accelerated computing,” said Cenly Chen, CEO of ChronoScale. NVIDIA also tied the project to efficiency and lifecycle economics, with Raj Mirpuri, Vice President of Global AI Clouds and Infrastructure Ecosystem at NVIDIA, saying, “The next generation of AI clouds must operate as full-stack AI factories, delivering more intelligence from every watt and lower token costs over the life of the infrastructure.”

ChronoScale did not provide a commissioning timeline, site specifics, or commercial terms for the planned deployment.
