AEWIN unveils two-phase direct liquid cooling solution for AI servers and data centers

AEWIN Technologies has announced its new two-phase direct liquid cooling (2P DLC) solution, specifically engineered for high-performance data center and edge computing environments. The solution will be presented at Supercomputing 2025, which takes place from November 16 to 21.

According to AEWIN Technologies, the 2P DLC system is designed to manage the increased power consumption and heat output of next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) servers. The system achieves over 2 kW of thermal removal capacity per chip, targeting the demands of advanced AI GPU deployments typical in hyperscale and colocation data centers.

The AEWIN 2P DLC solution incorporates advanced leakage detection features and an AI-powered coolant distribution unit (CDU) controller to enable safe and efficient operation in high-density environments. It is fully modular for flexible integration into data center racks and edge AI servers. AEWIN reports that its self-designed pump, condenser, and control modules are intended to simplify deployment and support rapid delivery schedules.

The system uses a PFAS-free, low-global warming potential (GWP) coolant to minimize environmental impact, aligning the product with increasing sustainability requirements in critical infrastructure. The company claims that by significantly reducing the need for traditional fans and air conditioning, its 2P DLC approach can lower both operational costs and overall energy consumption in data center facilities.
