In liquid cooling reliability, tubing choice creates another layer of protection

Thermal engineers specifying liquid cooling terminations for HPC and AI data centers often worry about how impacts through the supply chain may affect connector performance. Surprisingly, Colder Products Company’s FMEA-driven bubble-leak study found that hose wall thickness, rather than barb damage as large as 0.2 mm², determined whether a termination held or leaked.
