LITEON Technology has made a strategic investment in DCX POLSKA Sp. z o.o. (DCX Liquid Cooling Systems), a Warsaw, Poland-based supplier of liquid cooling systems for AI and high-performance computing (HPC) data centers. After the transaction closes, LITEON is expected to hold about a 25% equity stake in DCX Liquid Cooling Systems, with the total transaction valued at about $176 million.

The deal links DCX’s liquid cooling portfolio—including coolant distribution units (CDUs), facility coolant distribution units (FDUs), cold plates, and immersion cooling systems—with LITEON’s power electronics focus in AI infrastructure, including AI server power management, rack-level power delivery, and 800 VDC power architectures.

DCX Liquid Cooling Systems was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Warsaw. The company’s portfolio spans enterprise CDUs rated from 600 kW to 2.6 MW, and facility coolant distribution units rated up to 16 MW, along with cold plates, rack manifolds, and modular data center systems. LITEON and DCX plan to expand collaboration across product development, engineering, manufacturing scale-up, and global go-to-market activities, with a stated goal of developing integrated power-and-cooling platforms for hyperscale data center customers.

For data center engineers, the appeal of a tighter coupling between rack power delivery and liquid cooling is practical: as rack power density rises, the mechanical and electrical domains stop being independent design problems. Integrated designs can simplify how power, thermals, and service boundaries are engineered at the rack and row level, but operators will still need to evaluate how these integrated stacks fit existing facility water loops, maintenance models, and vendor qualification processes.

DCX Liquid Cooling Systems CTO Maciek Szadkowski said the partnership “will accelerate our global growth and combine the strengths of both companies to deliver broad next-generation data center infrastructure solutions.” DCX CEO Tomasz Buk added, “Together we can offer operators a single integrated solution, ready for the next generation of AI computing platforms and beyond.”

LITEON Technology and DCX Liquid Cooling Systems did not disclose product availability timelines tied to the investment beyond plans for joint development and commercialization work following closing.
