SpeedCloud Global launches managed cloud at 60% lower cost than hyperscalers

NxtGen has launched SpeedCloud Global, expanding its managed cloud and AI services from India to international markets. The company is pitching the service to enterprises looking for an alternative to hyperscale public cloud, with an emphasis on performance, cost, and enterprise controls.

NxtGen says SpeedCloud Global can run general workloads at 60% lower cost than “leading hyperscalers,” and that deployments can be delivered in as little as 48 hours. The company also describes the service as “enterprise-grade,” positioning it for organizations that want compliance and reliability features alongside managed operations.

Those are aggressive claims, and the practical next step for data center and cloud architects will be validating what sits behind “general workloads” and “lower cost”—pricing models, performance baselines, and any architectural constraints are what determine whether a platform is a fit for a given application profile. But a 48-hour deployment target will be attractive for teams trying to compress procurement and provisioning cycles, especially when internal governance still demands managed controls.

“Today we take India’s cloud to the world,” said A S Rajgopal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NxtGen. “India is no longer only the back office of global technology; it is now building world-class cloud infrastructure and competing on performance and cost, on its own terms.”

NxtGen says it serves more than 1,000 customers and over 200 government departments, and that it was named a Strong Performer in The Forrester Wave: Sovereign Cloud Platforms, Q2 2026. The company lists certifications including ISO 27001:2022, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, ISO 20000-1:2018, SOC 1 Type I, SOC 2 Type II, SOC 3, and PCI DSS, and says it is empaneled under the MeitY Government Community Cloud, CERT-In, and the IndiaAI Mission. SpeedCloud Global is available now, with services and pricing posted at speedcloud.nxtgen.com.
