GRC’s new liquid-to-air immersion cooled rack delivers 13 kW without chilled water

GRC (Green Revolution Cooling) has announced the ICEraQ Nano, a stand-alone liquid-to-air immersion cooling rack system designed for edge environments, small data rooms, and communications closets. According to GRC, the ICEraQ Nano delivers up to 13 kW of cooling capacity in a 10U form factor without requiring chilled water infrastructure, targeting high-density and energy-efficient deployment scenarios.

The ICEraQ Nano is shipped pre-filled with ElectroSafe fluid and integrates a liquid-to-air heat exchanger, removing the need for external coolant plumbing. The system features an automated fluid management system, an integrated server lift mechanism, and a top-mounted service tray to support streamlined server installation and maintenance. An onboard 7-inch touchscreen display enables real-time system monitoring and management, while secure locking doors help control access to IT equipment.

Technical features promoted by GRC include high-density cooling tailored for edge applications, reduced fan noise, enhanced system performance, improved equipment reliability, simplified installation, and a reported system lifecycle of 15 years.

Company CEO Peter Poulin stated, “The ICEraQ Nano delivers immersion cooling that addresses high density challenges customers are now facing,” and added, “By eliminating the need for chilled water and simplifying overall deployment, the Nano delivers high-performance cooling for edge computing.”

GRC notes that this new solution is suited for data center operators seeking to deploy modern immersion cooling for edge, high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, and telecommunications use cases.
