HydroFlush launches nationwide mechanical flushing for data center piping systems

Griffin Fluid Management has launched HydroFlush LLC, a new division focused on mechanical flushing services for commissioning mission-critical data center infrastructure across the United States. HydroFlush is set up to provide dedicated personnel, specialized equipment, and nationwide service coverage.

HydroFlush adds mechanical flushing to Griffin Fluid Management’s engineered fluid management portfolio, targeting the pre-operational preparation of critical piping systems. The unit will work with owners, contractors, engineers, and commissioning teams on projects where piping cleanliness and system readiness are part of the startup risk profile.

Mechanical flushing is one of those commissioning line items that’s easy to treat as a checkbox until it isn’t. When schedules are tight and systems are complex, having a dedicated flushing provider can reduce variability in how cleaning is planned, executed, and documented, especially across multi-site programs where repeatability matters as much as raw throughput.

To lead the division, Griffin Fluid Management appointed Darren Medlock as president of HydroFlush. Medlock will oversee day-to-day operations and the division’s growth.

Stuart Porter, president and CEO of Griffin Fluid Management, said HydroFlush “expand[s] our specialized service offerings to meet the growing needs of the data center industry,” and added, “By delivering specialized expertise, responsive service, and unwavering integrity, we’re committed to helping our customers execute their most critical projects with confidence.”

Griffin Fluid Management said it was founded in 1934 and operates 18 locations across the United States. The company’s listed services include dewatering, groundwater control, bypass pumping, water treatment, specialty pump rentals, and mechanical flushing for infrastructure, industrial, utility, and mission-critical projects across North America.

HydroFlush said it will partner with owners, engineering firms, mechanical contractors, general contractors, and commissioning teams to deliver mechanical flushing services intended to improve system performance, reduce startup risks, and support project completion timelines.
