Aggreko launches Tier 4 Final generators for Canada, including 600V 1200 kW model

Aggreko has launched Tier 4 Final generators built specifically for the Canadian market, targeting low-emissions temporary power needs that include data center sites and other industrial applications. The lineup includes diesel models rated at 145 kW, 210 kW, and 1200 kW, with 600 V configurations aimed at common Canadian electrical requirements.

The new Canadian Tier 4 Final generators are offered in 145 kW, 210 kW, and 1200 kW 600 V capacities. Aggreko says the models are exclusive to Canadian customers and are configured to meet Canadian market and regulatory requirements. All three models are CSA and UN31A compliant for electrical and fuel regulations in Canada.

The 1200 kW unit is designed with onboard 600 V capability, which can eliminate the need for an external step-up transformer when a project requires 600 V service. For data center builds and other critical loads, removing a transformer from a temporary-power stackup can simplify deployment and reduce equipment count, but it doesn’t eliminate the need for careful coordination around protection settings, grounding, and upstream gear ratings.

Aggreko describes the 145 kW and 210 kW models as “readily deployed canopy units” intended for immediate energy needs, while positioning the 1200 kW unit for large industrial loads. The company also says the additions expand its Canadian fleet offerings from 25 kW to 1200 kW.

“With large petrochemical and mining industries needing power across vast and remote territories, alongside thriving construction and data center sectors, Canada has a clear demand for engineered energy solutions that are both powerful and precisely configured,” said Paul Nascimento, managing director for Canada at Aggreko.

Aggreko says the Tier 4 Final generators are available now across Canada. More information is available at Aggreko.
