NAI certified by SENKO for high-volume fiber-optic assemblies for data centers

NAI Group has reported that it has achieved certification from SENKO to manufacture fiber-optic assemblies using SENKO’s MPO and SN-MT multi-fiber connectors. NAI says this certification confirms its compliance with SENKO’s process, workmanship, and performance standards, offering equipment manufacturers a vetted source for high-precision, multi-fiber connectivity.

According to NAI, it supports the data center industry with over 30 years of experience in design, manufacturing, and validation of connectivity solutions across its six production sites in North America and Asia. The company states it can deliver more than 1.5 million fiber connector terminations per month. Its product range spans fiber, copper, hybrid, and coaxial assemblies, with particular expertise in high-fiber-count trunk solutions for dense data center environments.

The certification targets manufacturers and operators in data center applications who require high-reliability, multi-fiber interconnects at scale. NAI notes that its recent investments, exceeding $1 million at its Hermosillo, Mexico facility, have expanded its capability to include MPO and SN-MT production. Additional capital investments are planned in upcoming quarters.

“NAI is pleased to have worked hand-in-hand with SENKO in achieving this important certification, and it demonstrates NAI’s continuing commitment to bring a wide array of capabilities to our customers; in parallel to this certification, NAI has recently invested in excess of $1 million into our Hermosillo, Mexico facility to expand our capacity to include MPO and SN-MT connectivity, and we expect to make additional capital investments over the next several quarters,” said Olga Reyes, Senior Director, Telecommunications & Data Center Segment, NAI Group.

“SENKO is proud to work closely with NAI in delivering precise and reliable multi-fiber connectivity to the global market. Demand for MPO and SN-MT connectivity is extremely high now, and world-class certified partners such as NAI help OEMs and others reach their capacity goals better and faster,” said Phil Ward, Director of Strategic Marketing, SENKO.
